Townsville Fly-In: 26th -29th September 2025

Join us on the Townsville Fly-In and please send in your registration. The dates are Friday 26th through to Midday on Monday 29th September.

We have filled a little over half of the positions available – still plenty of room for you to join.

We will get the event underway with Dinner at the Townsville Yacht Club on Friday evening commencing at 6pm.

Cost is $320.00 per person and inclusions are noted on the registration form including bus to cover our needs for Saturday through to Monday lunchtime.

Note the Yacht club dinner on Friday is a short walk from the recommended accommodation venues.

There are also details of suggested accommodation venues and distances from the bus pick point at Rydges.

You will need to organise your own accommodation.

Also note that the Ferry cost to Magnetic Island is not included. We have done this for convenience as there are cheaper rates for Concession Card holders.

Ferry tickets can be purchased on the day when we board the ferry.

For those wishing to fly up in their own aircraft we are proposing to meet at Toowoomba (YTWB) and travel up on Friday.

Please let us know if you are intending on being part of that group and we can organise the logistics of that separately.

We are expecting some of our IFFR New Zealand friends to join us so will be a great catch up following our very successful joint Gold Coast Fly In.

Please also forward to your friends who may not be IFFR members – they are welcome to join us as guests and experience an IFFR weekend for themselves.
